Looking ahead: Based on current roadmaps, Phonak, Signia and Widex are expected to add native Auracast broadcast support soon, most likely during 2026.
Starkey note: today, many Starkey users join Auracast broadcasts via the Android Auracast Assistant rather than a dedicated Starkey app. It is still unclear whether Starkey will launch its own Auracast app on iOS/Android in the future.
Auracast is broadcast-only; microphone return and two-way audio are handled via LE Audio Unicast and are still evolving across brands. Our focus today is making sure broadcast listening is as simple and reliable as possible for hearing-aid users.
